Two MUST lecturers have won Beit Trust scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.

The two are Kondwani Chirwa, an Associate Lecturer in Machine Learning, who has received a scholarship to study for a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at St Andrews University and Nathan Kaperemera, an Associate Lecturer in Cybersecurity, who has been awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Trust at University of Edinburgh.

Both Chirwa and Kaperemera are MUST alumni.

The Beit Trust Scholarship Programme, by Beit Trust, supports outstanding individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance and a proven record of community impact.

The initiative is currently being implemented in three countries of Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Speaking about his scholarship, Kaperemera described the application process as demanding but rewarding.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying it will help him further his education and professional development.

Chirwa also expressed his appreciation for the scholarship, commending the Beit Trust for its commitment to supporting higher education.

He pledged to work hard to make both MUST and the Beit Trust proud.

MUST congratulates both lecturers on this significant achievement and wishes them continued success in their academic pursuits.
