The African Drone and Data Academy (ADDA) at MUST has officially welcomed the 16th cohort of students for the Certificate of Drone and Data Technology (CDDT 2) program.

The orientation, held on October 7, 2025 at MUSTโ€™s Thyolo campus, brought together students and staff members from the academy as it continues its mission to strengthen capacities in the drone system.

At the event, Emmanuel Chinkaka, ADDA Program Manager, encouraged students to make good use of the learning journey and assured them of full support.

โ€œI welcome you to a group of passionate innovators who will be defining the future of our organizational capabilities,โ€ Chinkaka said.

The 16-student cohort will undergo four weeks of intensive training.

It comprises students who successfully completed the CDDT1, which is taught online.

ADDA continues to empower young innovators with skills in drones, data, and geospatial technology, equipping them to drive innovation and sustainable development across Africa.
