Excellence at MUST is not confined to academic achievements but it is also about building lasting relationships and nurturing a strong sense of community.
One of the testimonies to this is when members of the newly established MUST Alumni Association Southern Region Chapter, on October 12, 2025, organized a friendly football match against current students at the universityโs stadium.
The exciting game ended in a 6โ2 win for the students, but the real victory was the unity and joy shared on the field throughout the event.
The match offered alumni a chance to relive their university memories while reconnecting with the vibrant student community.
One of the organizers for the event, John Kavuta emphasized that the event went beyond competition.
โItโs more than just a game, itโs a celebration of our shared identity, unity, and pride as members of the MUST community. We plan to organize more matches across Malawi as we form the MUST Alumni Socials Football Team,โ said Kavuta.
By engaging in such activities, the MUST Alumni Association continues to strengthen bonds between graduates and current students, showing that excellence at MUST is not just achieved, itโs lived.
