FDH Bank Plc has donated K18 million to support student athletes from MUST selected into the Tertiary Students Sports Association of Malawi (Tessam) team.
Tessam is participating in the Confederation of University and Colleges Sports Associations (Cucsa) games in Botswana.
The FDH Bank sponsorship directly facilitated the logistical requirements of the MUST students as they travelled and particpated in the CUSCA games.
MUST University Registrar, Alfred Chinombo, thanked FDH Bank for the support, describing it as a timely and meaningful demonstration of commitment to youth development, education, student welfare, sports advancement and national representation.
"Your support has made a direct and practical difference by enabling the student athletes to participate in the games, represent the university and the country with pride, and gain valuable regional exposure," he said.
