Robert Mkandawire has 21 years of experience in project and technology management space. Over the years he has managed technology transfer projects, especially in agro-processing and renewable energy sectors. In the field of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer, Robert has developed and transferred technologies, trained entrepreneurs and helped them protect their intellectual property, especially among small and medium enterprises. Currently, Robert is responsible for the technology transfer office of MUST. 

He holds Diploma in Engineering, BSc in Technical Education and MBA with bias towards technology management, all obtained from the University of Malawi. He has also attended several short courses and workshops in business development, innovation and technology management.
