Recently, Masters in Data Science students from MUST visited Zingwangwa Secondary School in Blantyre, for career talk to inspire Form 4 students.
The career talk aimed to encourage the students to pursue careers in technology and data-driven fields.
It was being conducted under the theme, "Unlocking the Future: Careers in Data Science, IT & Computer Science", and it attracted over 100 students, who learned about the growing importance of technology in shaping various industries.
The MUST students made presentations, highlighting the significance of data science, IT, and computer science in solving real-world problems.
Francisco Chimbiya, an MSc student, emphasized that "data is the new oil, currency, and gold" and that these fields offer broad opportunities for innovation and impact.
