Felix Nabwenje, a 5th Year Manufacturing Engineering student at MUST, through his engineering firm Nthota Innovation Engineering, led an initiative to repair and maintain damaged hospital beds at Area 25 Community Hospital.
The initiative helped to reduce the shortage of essential medical equipment and improve patient care, especially during the busy festive season.
Using skills gained at MUST, including hands-on training in fabrication, welding, and equipment maintenance, Felix applied engineering knowledge to solve a real community challenge.
His work highlights how innovation, skills, and service can come together to make a real impact.
