I was born and raised in Mpamba, Nkhata-bay. In 2015, I began studying Chemical Engineering at the Malawi University of Science and Technology. I completed my honors degree in 2020 and officially graduated on May 18, 2021.
Now, here's where it gets interesting. In 2021, I ventured into the pharmaceutical scene as a Production Supervisor, overseeing daily production schedules and ensuring the quality of crucial drugs. Then, in 2022, I made a U-turn and returned to the university, not as a student but as an Associate Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. Currently, I hold the position of Assistant Lecturer, sharing my passion for chemical engineering with eager minds.

But hold on, it's not all about the classroom. In 2023, I undertook industrial staff attachment at Illovo Nchalo Mill, and Kawandama Hills Plantation in Chikangawa Mzuzu. During this two-month period, I actively engaged in process optimization and improvement. These experiences have not only advanced my practical skills in engineering but also sharpened my problem-solving abilities.
Oh, and I've toured over 25 different companies across Malawi, not just to enjoy the scenery but to find the sweet spots where chemical engineering can level up. It's not just about me; instead, it's about bridging the gap between industries and universities, and it has been quite the ride.

And guess what? I'm not done learning. I'm currently in the midst of pursuing my Master's in Chemical Engineering at MUST, set to wrap it up in April 2024. Learning and teaching are my passions, and the future of science and tech has me buzzing. I wear the title of a chemical engineer with pride and feel like I've struck gold on this journey. Exciting times lie ahead!
