I am a dedicated and passionate Food Science and Technology Specialist, holding a 2019 B.Sc. in Food Technology from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) and recently completing my 2024 M.Sc. in Food Science from University of Malawi (UNIMA). My research during the master's program focused on the impact of seasonal variation and processing techniques on the proximate composition and oil quality of fish species from Lake Malawi. With over one and three academic years of part-time lecturing at LUANAR and UNIMA, respectively, I now serve as an Assistant Lecturer in Food Science and Technology at the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), specifically within the MIT's Department of Engineering.

My academic journey, coupled with hands-on research, has endowed me with a comprehensive skill set in food science, from fundamental principles to advanced techniques. Committed to contributing to the field's evolution, I aim to address challenges and promote sustainable practices in food production and processing, aspiring to inspire positive change within the food industry as I continue to grow professionally.
